Licensed Clinician

LCSW or LPC licensure required for this full-time opportunity to provide support and treatment to adults with psychiatric diagnoses or co-occurring psychiatric and substance abuse disorders.

Qualified candidates must be skilled in Intake and Outpatient procedures. Proven experience in providing individual and group therapy, assessments, discharge planning and referral services. You would be eligible to apply for this position if you are a highly flexible individual and possess exceptional computer skills, critical for management of all aspects of clinical cases in an electronic medical record format.  Experience with electronic medical records a plus.  Multi-tasking abilities are essential.

Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Connecticut license is required. Provide medication management for dually diagnosed adults in a multidisciplinary team environment.  Sound Community Services (SCSI) is a progressive community mental health center with an onsite partial hospitalization program located in an exquisite area along the Thames River in downtown New London, Connecticut.

Work a 40 hour week Monday – Friday; no weekends, holidays or on-call; flextime is available.  Bi-lingual is helpful.  SCSI offers excellent salary and benefits.  Faculty appointment at UCONN or Yale is possible for qualified, interested candidates.
