The Rite of Passage Program (ROPP) is a residential program welcoming young adults who have reached a crossroads and could benefit from the assistance and support of on-site staff 24 hours a day. In many cultures, a rite of passage is an event in one’s life in which a person has achieved a new milestone. Keeping in line with its namesake, this program focuses on teaching and mentoring individuals and assisting them and their families in achieving goals they may have never thought attainable.

Our program focuses on 4 core values and skills:

Activities of Daily Living (ADL’s)
Healthy Emotion Management
Positive Interpersonal Communication
Accountable Initiative Actions
Intake and Eligibility: Southeastern Mental Health Authority (SMHA) referrals to SCSI.

The Young Adult Apartment Program (YAS) is a transitional residential program for individuals in recovery who will benefit from the assistance and support of on-site staff 24 hours a day in a community-based and skill building environment.

Our program’s focus is to:

Obtain the skills to further recovery
Live independently in the community
Prepare to secure an independent apartment living environment (with needed supports such as a Case Manager)
Intake and Eligibility: Southeastern Mental Health Authority (SMHA) referrals to SCSI.
